As of 12/01/2023, amendments to Chapter 92 - Water Rates and Chapter 99 - Sewer Service Charges are in effect. You will see the increases reflected on the bills mailed at the beginning of January 2024. Water rates were increased by 5% due to rising production costs. Sewer rates continue to increased significantly due to the DNR mandated wastewater lagoon expansion project. These funds will be used to cover the debt payments for the construction of two new lagoon cells, generators at the sewer lift stations and a stretch of new sewer main along North Highway 6 & 59. If you are consistently a "minimum bill" customer (2000 gallons of water usage or less) expect to see an increase of just less than $20 per month.
