GRADUATION POLICY:   Our policy is that all parties put up and take down their

                                                 own tables so that floors can be properly cleaned.

 

 

 

OAKLAND COMMUNITY BUILDING RENTAL FEES

 

 

CURFEW:  1:00 A.M. (06/12/00)

 

 

$200.00          Damage Deposit (To be refunded after inspection and no damage noted to building, tables, chairs, and equipment)

 

$50.00            Any non-profit organization with 501© 3 (6/9/97)

 

$25.00            For each additional day rented by the same 501© 3 group

 

$175.00          Civic organizations,  family or class reunions, local meetings, showers, birthday parties, graduations, dealer meetings,

gun shows, dances, auctions, weddings, anniversary dances, and banquets (10/9/00)

 

$75.00            For each additional day rented by the same person

 

 

$100.00          Additional cost for having alcoholic beverages at the event

                        Note: Alcohol can only be provided and served by the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department

Deposit is due when reservation is made. Reservations can be made up to 24 months in advance.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL RESULT IN YOUR DAMAGE DEPOSIT BEING WITHHELD!

 

CURFEW: No serving of alcoholic beverages after 1:00 a.m.

RENTERS can remain in building after 1:00 a.m. for cleaning purposes.

 

CHAIRS AND TABLES:     

DO NOT use duct tape or double face tape on the tables.

WIPE tables and chairs clean.  REMOVE all tape. Tables must be stored back on the carriers.  DO NOT put full chair or full table carts in southeast room.  Put empty carts in there.

 

GENERAL:

Trash MUST be put in trash bags before placing in dumpster outside of building.

Empty trash from bathrooms.

Put pop cans in marked container.

Floor must be swept well enough that it is ready to be mopped

 

DO NOT TAPE OR TACK ANYTHING TO WALLS

 

WHEN LEAVING BUILDING:

Turn off all lights.

Set Thermostat to 55 in winter months and 80 in summer months

Lock all doors.

Check restrooms.

Do not leave water running.

Turn off stoves.

Shut refrigerator doors.

Turn off and lockup PA system.

Turn off exhaust fan.

Check for any damages and report damage to City Clerk.

 

MAKE SURE FRONT DOORS ARE PINNED

 

PARKING:

ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING IN THE HANDICAPPED PARKING ZONE – This is reserved parking strictly for the handicapped.  You are responsible for enforcing this rule.

NO parking on street in front of building.  There is parking on both sides and in rear lot.
